How is the heat wave affecting business ............................................

Just wondering that nobody has even mentioned the present heat wave that even made it way into Canada.

Temperatures in the mid nineties with non stop heat even at night.

My central air conditioner in my house took its last breath the first day of the heat wave. First service available in 10 days.

17 death in the Montreal area due to the heat. How is it affecting your business or private life ?

No replies yet as everyone has melted.

Summer temperatures here are 86-95 average which doesn't stop people. People do slow down around 95 though. At 104 the complaining about the heat starts.

Shops that are stand alone definitely notice less customers. Shops that are in malls usually keep going ok as people come to the mall for the air conditioning.

Our schedule is still full. People still need glasses and contacts. No effect.

We are now on our 7th day and waiting to get back to normal temperatures this night after some thunderstorms in the area.

At 1.45 am it is still hot and humid, and no sign of any change. Two fans are blowing some air at me, sitting at my desk, and no air conditioning until next Tuesday.
