    Your best glasses ideas

If money and practicality were not issues, based on your years of optical experience, if you were creating a pair of glasses, de novo, what would they look like?

    • Would you choose one piece or combination?
    • Would you use metal, plastic, other substance or a combination?
    • What metal?
    • What plastic?
    • What material for single vision lenses? (assume a very small Rx)
    • Trivex, polycarb, polyurethane, etc?
    • Coatings? AR, anti-blue, anti-UV, etc.

I'm sure there will be many opinions, but it should be interesting to read some.
Thanks ahead of time for your input.

Optyl frame front that fits my bridge with tension based temples like Ovvo or IC Berlin. This would make me very happy.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

I'd do a titanium drill mount in Trivex with Transitions VII and Crizal Sapphire. No HEV blue silliness, thank you.

I love my Blackfin frames. If I wasn't the highish myope I am I would use trivex, as is I would do 1.67. With a top notch AR and I also am a Transitions guy.

The thought experiment says "assume a low RX" so Trivex away!

    Where's you guys imagination? Here are my money no object glasses;

Anti-gravity frame and lenses that hover in front of my face.

Stealth technology along with an AR coating that canceled 100% of any type of reflections rendering my glasses invisible.

Auto, instant range finding ability with liquid crystal/molecular lens focal point adjustment. ( Can also be used to update my Rx)

Instant polarizing ability set to my preferred light level tolerance and tint preference.

Nuclear powered so I never have to recharge them.

Equipped with 2-petawatt twin lasers that could burn through 10 inches of metal.

500 megapixel camera w/50 times magnification capability.

    Wifi w/Netflix

I'm sure there's more I'd like, but I'll stop there for now..

Add Hulu to that WiFi capability so I can watch "Bob's Burgers" and I'm in.

Then add the xray vision technology to check out what all the talk is about at your local gym
