David, order a Trivex wheel from Super Abrasives. they speed up poly and other material edging too.

Considering this is a brand new edger I'll wait a few years to upgrade the wheel. Been told doubling up on the front and back with AR pads and increasing the chuck pressure should resolve the issues *Fingers crossed*

David, the only issues I have with slippage are stock trivex with super hydro coatings. I have an older ME1000, here is what I use for those jobs.

Trivex wheel from super abrasive.(obviously for all jobs)

Highest chuck pressure, 5 on my edger.

    1712NR leap pads

    1705 anti-slip discs

    Process on soft mode.

This has eliminated virtually any slippage issues for me. Hope it helps.

Doc, a new Trivex wheel will only cost you around $400. How many trivex Trans job screw-ups pays for one? About 3.

The Photochromic may have a premium AR. There are several recommendations/posts on this forum for the best anti slip pad.

I had the same issue when edging 1.67 w/AR last year. I changed the blocking pad type I was using (HydroKing is awesome btw) and starting using that exact intermediary film and all the problems went away...

    +1

Okay upgraded to no slip pads front and rear and
increased chuck pressure with Trivex to 150%
Again can complete all other jobs without issue but for some reason Trivex Trans with AR
    comes out like this.
