How does one go about offering writing services to our various industry publications? In an attempt to broaden my career profile I would like the opportunity to contribute and possibly write a few articles.
What is the process? Would I have to obtain speaker status with the ABO? Do I contact the various optical magazines/journals/publications and ask them each individually if they are in need of any opticians to write for them? Any input or advice would be appreciated. Thank you
Write articles then submit them to the magazines. If the editors find them interesting enough, they'll publish them, you don't even need to be ABOC. Now CE articles are a different story.
