sending Thank you notes for glasses purchase

I would like to start sending thank you notes to patients after they purchase glasses from our clinic. I would like to hear from people who do that and what advise you might have for sending out thanks you notes. Thanks

Back in the day, when customers were paying for their glasses out of their own pockets and not with same "insurance" scam we used to give a nice coffee mug with our logo containing a bottle of lens cleaner a cloth and some nice chocolate. It probably cost us $7.00 but considering the outrageous prices of our glasses we never noticed the expense. For our high rollers a nice bottle of wine.

Thank you notes with nice picture of the whole crew are always appreciated. Maybe a nice birthday card.

You might consider just doing a quick follow up phone call to check if the patient is having any issues with their glasses. Sometimes people are too embarrassed to speak up about problems and end up not using their glasses or waiting till their next exam to say something. This way it really shows them you care.
