Optician/Frame Stylist needed in Pullman, WA

Pullman Vision Source is an independent optometry practice located in downtown Pullman, WA. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a full time optician/frame stylist/optical salesperson. Visit www.pullmanvisionsource.com to learn more about Dr. James P DeVleming and the office.

Primary job duties:

• Educate patients on face shape, frame selection, lens material, and coatings to fit their needs
• Engage and create pleasant, professional experiences with each patient, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer service
• Repair broken frames and perform patient specific adjustments
• Verify incoming orders and dispense to patients accordingly
• Extensive use of our electronic health record system and additional web-based system to order, track and manage patient frames and lenses

Qualifications:

• Licensed dispensing optician certification and/or paraoptometric certification is preferred though not required
• Retail experience preferred
• MUST be a team player and quick learner
• Genuine interest in fashion
• Exceptionally skilled in the following areas
  • Multitasking
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Troubleshooting
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
