This position will combine knowledge of medical pre-testing, transcribing, and frame and/or lens selection for patients in a fast-paced optometry clinic.

Job Description:
- The Super Tech will be responsible for performing the medical pre-testing of all patients, including retinal photography, OCT scans, case history, and visual acuities, as well as patient education on testing procedures.
- The Super Tech is responsible for appropriately transcribing for the doctor during examinations, accurately coding the exam based on diagnosis and procedures performed, as well as ensuring follow-up information is recorded.
- The Super Tech will assist patients in frame and lens selection, as well as educating on lens materials, coatings and styles.

Delivers clear, concise information with enthusiasm and passion that demonstrates knowledge of the business, products, and/or services. Communicating technical terminology in a manner by which the patient understands is essential.
- Technical Abilities
Ability to accurately measure and record all patient information. Attention to detail relative to all testing, results, and eyewear selections is imperative. A displayed comfort level and accuracy of accomplishing tasks and testing of this nature is required.
- Engagement and Drive
Must be able to work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace. Effectively handling multiple tasks and patients at one time, while focusing on the individual patient experience. Takes initiative to work independently with HEC vision in mind. Motivates self and others to further education and skills.
- Team Player
Must exhibit the ability to work well within the team environment, supporting all aspects of the practice and delivering on the patient experience. Actively participate in weekly team meetings and support overall team goals.
