Looking for software options for our new little optical tied into a larger clinic. We use Epic for EMR and won’t be able to link in at this time. I’m looking for options that will manage all aspects of optical without the EMR option (don’t want to pay for something I won’t use or take away from the other aspects of optical). Simple, comprehensive, and inexpensive. I like be able to pull reports too! Am I asking for too much? Any suggestions and ideas would be great! Thanks!
Never make a software purchase with short sighted goals.
I would look in to Compulink's cloud options. Compulink is a modular software system, so I *THINK* you can purchase optical POS separate from the other EHR/EMR features of the software. This way, in the future, you can expand the functionality to meet the needs of a growing optical/clinic.
