    Radio Advertisement ideas

    Hello Everyone,

I won a contest where our Optometrist Clinic gets free radio advertising for two weeks. The Radio station is asking us to brainstorm a list of things we would like to advertise and have them talk about. Any ideas on what a Optometrist clinic should adervise to increase traffic?

Whatever sets you apart from your competition. High end frames? Cheap package deals? Cutting edge imaging equipment?

This is the radio ad you should do:

Guy: Baby, you look so amazing today. While your parents are gone , lets go upstairs and have some 'quality time together'

Guy's girlfriend's dad: Steve, Samantha went shopping with her mother. Get some glasses and never speak with my daughter again.

Then have some radio ad guy voice give the name, address, website whatever.

Also if you go with the ad, please post it on here so i can listen to my genius idea.

Advertise for a trunk show the day following the two week advertiser period or a new patient % off an exam and glasses when they mention the ad during the time the ad runs. Either would give you a good idea how effective the radio ad was.

I don't like discount ideas that exclude anybody. I really don't like discount ideas that exclude people who have been supporting your business before.

Trunk show is a great idea, though. Especially if you have one of those reps that have multiple lines.

Makes me think of Comcast, where only new customers get the good deals and the people who been with them for years keep paying more and more.

Happens all the time. We had direct TV and they advertised multiple boxes for new customers. Me, a customer for 5 years wasn't eligible. We cancelled and told them we would sign up as a new customer. They said we couldn't do that as our name would be in there data base forever. Still have the useless dish hanging there but now we hang Christmas lights on it.
