Full moon every day, all month.

Decembers in the optical really bring out the best in people. I feel like every day this month has been a full moon.

At least Jack Daniels is still friendly..

I kick it with a fine old Virginia Gentleman.

Seriously, though, for every patient who calls with an urgent need to be seen before the end of the month, I have a last-minute "I have to cancel my appointment for this afternoon" call. And naturally these never line up so the latter sets up the former. It's maddening.

This is how it works: It is full moon fever for two weeks before the full moon and for two weeks after the full moon. Every month, never fails. Expect it.

No...not just you. At lunch today, I was going on about a crazy couple I had this am. My beverage of choice is a nice hot chocolate with Bailey's caramel. Wish I had a cup in front of me now...it might make me more tolerant of those crazy patients!

Yes, I'll add my name to the list of befriending various outstanding gentlemen and naval officers in the liquor industry on a much more frequent basis.

Isn't it the best when someone walks in saying 'I need spend $2000.00'

Guess what? I can help you with that!
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Throwing my hat into the crazy pile:
Patient upset that I wouldn't use his VSP incorrectly (use for non-rx plano suns, when his coworkers told him he could use it that way), confirmed with VSP his plan can't be used that way/no special allowance or alternative, and still felt the need to email and leave a review that we were in the wrong (because he found another optical that told him he could use it the wrong way).

Special order under cabinet microwave oven and mounting kit. Was told it was not returnable as printed on invoice. Armstrong attempted to install, damaging unit. Came back and Left it in our store and canceled credit card.
I only had to go as far as the first complaint when I saw blood dripping from the web page.

Hahaha cancelling your credit card to not get charged for that ever exclusive under the cabinet microwave oven is such a savage move.
