Best / High Quality OTC reader options

    Hey All,

Wondering your thoughts on the best OTC reader line(s) you may happen to have run across in your offices. Would love something with aspheric lenses, reasonable AR & scratch resistance etc. Not the typical 3 for $10 junkers...but something with a decent lens. Frame quality / style is secondary to lens quality.

    TIA!

I don't need OTCs (I still have leftover crown glass readers) but the Eyenavision OTC reader appears to fulfill most of your requirements.

Not sure of the brand- but the most impressive ones I've come across are from Staples. They even have ones with a progression in them- basically an OTC workstation pair.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

The high end OTC reader market is one of the fastest growing in our industry. Making discontinued frames into readers will not work, there's a reason why they're discontinued... they don't sell!
our industry tried that philosophy in the 80's with sunglasses and that's one of the reasons Sunglass Hut exists. for years we thought carrying sunglasses was not worth while. Times have changed.
Consumers are a lot more sophisticated today. they demand the best quality at the best value. Some will go the cheap way but many are looking for something that is better in quality, cool, fun and has great optics.

We produce the highest quality readers in the industry. our frames are made of 100% Mazzucchelli zyl. we use true riveted 5 and 7 barrel hinges. Our lenses are 1.56 Aspheric with premium AR. they are decentered to minimize base out prism and are 100% UV. 1 year unconditional scratch warranty on lenses (one time replacement) and 2 year on any manufacturer defect.

Yes I missed the point......................... not the first time in my life.

I have probably done so on other occasions, or I would be rich and famous by now.
