It takes forever to receive a credit

We deal with a particular frame company who's frames we love, but when we have a rep return or when we return defective frames under warranty, it is MONTHS before we receive a credit. We always eventually receive the proper credit, it just takes too long.

I wonder what the company would think if I took 6 months to pay their bill?

    Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm with you Patricia. This way, you end up with a credit at the company which you must spend with them. The company gets to collect interest on the credit money they have retained as well as charge you interest on you current bill that would not exist if the returns were even. It's a win-win situation for the frame supplier.

Well, I hate to accuse the company of purposefully holding the credit. I have always assumed they were backlogged in the Frame Returns area.

Yeah Right. They bookeeping department is behind on issueing credits, and has plenty of time to be up-to-date on billling and even harrasing if you get behind.

It must be wonderful to be young and naive.
