So I'm wearing my glasses and I notice that the silicone nosepads have a bump in them, over the general vicinity of where the plastic insert skeleton is.

Since I've seen this once before, I puncture the nosepad bubble and an oil comes out!

I think it's a nose oil well.

I'm going acetate from here on out.

I was accused once by a customer many years ago that the reason I always suggested silicone nosepads is because they are cheaper than the hard plastic variants.
