Berks Eye Physicians and Surgeons in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania is looking to add a dynamic and sales/profitability driven manager for our Optical Shop and Optical Lab. Must be ABO Certified to be considered. This is a working optician/manager position. Previous management experience in optical industry preferred. Optical Lab experience also a plus. Optical Manager will supervise 4 to 6 full and part-time staff Monday through Friday. Possible evening hours until 7 on Monday and Thursday.

- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to train others
- Ability to present and sell eyeglasses, features, and specialty lenses to patients
- Assist with establishment and drive achievement of Company sales goals
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Ability to analyze financial data in order to identify trends and problem areas that need to be addressed
- Monitor statistics achievements against Company standards
- Review re-dos and enforce policies to ensure compliance. Ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure proper communication to Practice Manager on all pertinent issues
- Listen and respond immediately with an appropriate level of concern to all customer issues. Analyze, solve, and correct customer service issues
- Motivate sales associates to exceed Company goals
- Skilled at negotiating and dealing with many vendors for frames, lenses and supplies.
