Santinelli LE1000 Express Tracing Issues

My LE1000 seems awfully... conservative, for lack of a better word, when making the initial trace of a lens. It seems like any lens that is borderline for cutout is read as too small to edge, and I can't find any mechanism to override this for lenses I know bloody well will cut out. I know my measurements are good, and I know my lab doesn't overly crib every lens they send me, but I am constantly having cutout problems. Does anyone know a way to "game" this machine to get it to trace a bit more liberally?

Does it have an FC mode? Use the FC mode and it should override that lens trace conservatism. Use at your own risk though!

Chapter 2.9 should have the info you need for your machine

Also make sure you are using active mode and not passive mode when blocking. I know with the LE9000 there are many lenses that won't cut out in passive mode but will in active mode.
