Any feedback about WINK Software? A Free practice management sofrware for ECP?
Ok Ivan, so what's the catch here. How is it "free"? Does it have advertisements in it, is it farming information, etc. Just because it doesn't cost dollars, doesn't mean it is free. So where is the revenue coming from?
Hello,
Indeed at one point we need to eat at night :)
Wink is simple in the way we monetize the business :
1- We are currently integrated with all major lab (Essilor/Nikon/Zeiss/Hoya) across Canada (soon US) therefore These labs pay us a small transaction fee to have our client ordering through Wink which help them get order processed better and faster since it is integrated to their internal system.
2- We do sell hardware and supplies such as Barcode label printer/ Exam label printer/ Barcode Scanners/ Perforated paper for invoice, worksheet & tray labels which have been integrated to Wink
3- We offer different Support plan which can be purchased to get training and unlimited access to phone support. Alternatively these can be purchased "ā la carte"
4- We have different add-ons & package of add-ons which can be purchased to enhanced wink experience.
5- We offer advertisement to different suppliers therefore these ads never pop up and never interfere with your workflow. We also provide ads designed to help you sell more, such as supplier sponsored coupons for patients
You can use Wink free, we have a youtube channel for training purpices as well as a knowledge base and a ticketing system. Also you can do everything that you are probably doing for free including :
-Create Invoices, estimates, refunds and credit notes
-Lens ordering with Job status tracking
-Inventory management
-Appointment calendar
-Recalls and reminder
-Reports and statistics
-EHR (coming soon)
@LongLivIndependent we are absolutely not Fully owned by Essilor... you can even check Quebec registry of company and see that the company is owned and administered by two independent owners. Also we are equally integrating with labs such as Essilor/Hoya/Nikon/Zeiss/Shamir ... you can call their respective executive they will speak about the work we have been providing in order to complete these integrations.
