The Healthy Vision Institute is seeking a self-motivated, career-oriented professional that has experience with front desk in high volume healthcare setting, preferably Ophthalmology, though not required. This individual should have strong communication skills, solid multitasking abilities, as well as enjoy assisting and interacting with senior patients.
This position requires the flexibility to travel between our 3 office locations (St. Petersburg, Clearwater, New Port Richey- 30 minutes from each other). This position is full time Monday-Thursday leaving a three day weekend every week, plus 6 holidays and additional PTO days that correspond with the physician days off.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
• Have Front Desk Experience, preferably with high patient volume 75+ patients per day
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of Insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicare Replacements, and commercial insurances.
• Be comfortable collecting from patients for Deductibles, coinsurances and copays
• Possess strong Time Management and Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and take direction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience in Medical practice management system- preferably Netgen
• Strong Communication and Follow up skills
• Willing and Able to travel to Satellite offices
Job Duties:
• Check in/out patients, schedule future appointments with in appropriate scheduling guidelines
• Collect copays, deductibles and coinsurance as directed
• Monitor and maintain patient / clinic flow, using NextGen software, and staff communication
• Daily Balancing and End of Day reporting
• Maintain the front office comfort by keeping organized, making coffee, and assisting patients.
• Be a Patient advocate and concierge – Aid patients in scheduling referred appointments, provide condition based education materials, answer or refer billing questions
