Not yet, we have one on order that should be delivered soon.
Looking forward to some feedback before ordering.
This is a solid upgrade from the 7EX. We like the ability to shelve on zyl frames over -4D for a better fit without the need for a multi-cutter. Drills come out nice, too. You can specify angled drills. With the upgrade, you can create custom shelving. It is also faster than the 7EX.
However, it is not a replacement for the EZFit. For a smaller lab, it might be worth it.
Would I invest in another QM? No. I’ll spend the extra for another EZFit.
Closer to 60%, if you have the NBL version. The QM is quite capable in a lower volume environment, and will pay dividends if you want to do a lot of custom work. There is a shape finder available for an extra cost, that will allow you to create custom bevel profiles.
If you are looking for a basic production edger, the 7EX is a better investment. If you are looking to customize bevels and reduce outsourcing, the QM might fit in nicely.
86K+shape finder. We didn’t opt for that add on.
