    1-800-CONTACTS nuisance faxes

The latest verification for an Rx that expired in 2014 came with request for doctor's name and license# as well as exam date.

I checked the "expired" box, put exam date, and wrote EXPIRED in margin with a sharpie then faxed back to online company.

I did not put doctor's name or license# because that information is really none of their business. Do you think 1-800 will fill it using the lack of requested doc's info as an excuse?

    They will fill it.
    Cause that's what they do.

Just got a fax from webeyecare.com, I read the fax and if we don't fax something back within 8 business hours they just automatically fill the contacts RX. Anyone else ever notice this. 8 business hours doesn't seem like a lot of time. Should I send back and tell them he is not a patient since they put a birthday of 11/11/1111 (i'm not even kidding), I don't have any patient with that birthday. The problem I have with this is that the patient doesn't have a finalized prescription yet, so they could just fill a prescription.
