My old OD told me that his CV rep told him (I know, I know- optical telephone) that they haven't got the license on Marc Ecko frames anymore. Any idea who's got them now?

I do know CV took out my Marc Ecko for a mysterious reason. Now I know.
It was a good line.
It won't be Lux.
Won't be Safilo.
Won't be Tura.
I'm thinking possibly Marchon.
+1
It was one of my favorite lines when dispensing. There was a frame for just about every male patient at a decent price point, and they were study AF. Hope whoever gets them next puts out just as good a product.
I could never really move them. They were fashion-forward in places my male patients weren't used to seeing; temple shapes, double bars, etc. I personally loved the line to death and own two.
I'm Andrew Hamm and I approve this message.
So the plot thickens--
My old OD phoned CV today to see if he could get his hands on a pair of deadstock frames for me to act as backup for a pair I've got. Found out that not only has the line been pulled from all stores, they're not even selling off deadstock-- per the rep with whom he spoke, they're only doing frame warranties, but the rest are being warehoused. What in the world?
Maybe Marc Ecko licensing problem?
I'm wondering. Seems odd they wouldn't want to sell off the deadstock and make a profit, and instead are apparently letting it sit in a warehouse, waiting for warranties to come in. My OD used to be part of a buying group where offices could bulk purchase discontinued frame models from some of the bigger non-Lux manufacturers; that's where we got a lot of our package frames from. Beginning to wonder if maybe this wasn't a happy separation. Hopefully some of the designs will pop up under other CV lines.
Costco does have some marc ecko, for 50 us dollars.
Costco is where frame lines and discontinued product go to die.
Erik Zuniga, ABOC.
I've seen them, too, but, I was more curious if anyone had picked up the license. They were some solid, well-selling frames, and I'd like to continue a relationship with the line if at all possible.
What's CV? Is it American only?

It's Clear Vision out of New York.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?
