    Sharpview Equivalent?

Wondering if someone with some wider experience with ARs knows what the closest "big name" equivalent to Sharpview is? Crizal Easy? Hoya Premium? Or is Sharpview just a non-branded E product?

Sharpview is an older AR that came out in 2005. (guesstimate.) Its affordable and available on stock lens and in most labs. I could have sworn this is an Essilor product. Heres some talk on it in a way back in the day thread.

Sharpview is a second tier AR with a super hydro, and a quicker turn time than Crizal. I'm assuming that this is not a dip coated process.
As for an equivalent, I'd guess that any OEM premium AR will do.

It's a lower level than any Crizal or other branded AR, but I must say I like it. Durability and longevity isn't great, as lensmanmd said it's not hardcoated, but that goes for all AR in the class. But the clarity, hydro- and oleo- are indistinguishable to me from Crizal Easy or even Alize.

    Disclaimer- Essilor employee.
    Sharpview
(and Sharpview+) are Essilor no-glare products. The main differentiation between Sharpview and our branded no-glare products is Sharpview has a spin coat, UV cured hardcoat (as with many in-house AR products), while our branded products are dip coat, thermal cure.

Ugh. The term "no-glare" just kills me. Kills me. It both lowers the level of discussion and makes surface glare alleviated by polarized lenses harder to explain. I know that some room full of market researchers smarter than I came up with it, but I still can't stand it.
