    Are polarized lenses 100% UV protected?

    Not safe for directly looking at the sun!!!

    From the OptiCampus Forum- Click on "On Line Courses"- then Tools, then Spectral Transmittance charts.

    During the eclipse you are looking at a lot more than just UV-A. It's the whole enchilada (or spectrum) baby!!! Don't do it!!!
