    Warby Parker PALs

Apologize if this has been asked before, I haven't logged on for awhile. Does anyone have any articles about Hoya making their PALs?

Hoya has been manufacturing PALs already in the 1960s and sold them in Canada. We used to surface them in my wholesale lab for quite a few years.

Now with a new edging lab and a great guy managing it I would not be surprised if they go in to surfacing in the next year or two!

Well, well, well, here we go again...........................

Another step forward to sell the company to the Essilux competition who has the money or the credit. And they will probably beat the old Coastal in selling and make a huge profit from the new Essilux in a few month time from now.

However what have the B&M store done to counter that or to survive it.

According to OptiBoard post, nothing. Everything is nice and dandy. The only thing is that 15% of the population is buying online, but they will soon stop because there is no service provided on online products.

Just do not forget that there are 5,000 LensCrafter stores worldwide, that are discontinuing their onsite labs and most probably become service stations for online opticals within the next few months.
