Davis Vision Closes Plainview, NY Laboratory

My stepdad had davis vision. Got him a pair of RX polarized sunglasses. Unfortunately for him, his rx was spherical in both eyes. They jacked up the polarization axis a total of three times. They also edged the lenses off a pattern and they totally didn't fit. I told the manager "please put your hands on this" several times and nada.

Somewhere around a year ago. They called us and asked if we were willing to participate. Told me it was because we sent so many jobs back because of power and axis. In the end, it did nothing. If anything, it made me more frustrated. I hate Davis. I really hate Davis.

It used to be a more relaxed environment but over the last couple months there have been so many changes and to much uncertainty. Due to all the changes I as well as a lot of ppl left. You have to bid for PTO AND vacation time and it's based on seniority so good luck with that. Overall a good place and good people.
