This is a good reference thread on how tinting is done on different materials. (Warning: colorful language)

This thread is incomprehensible, but it is one of but many threads that memorialize the greatness that was Darryl Meister.

Progressive lens "drop" doesn't mean "butter fingers". Who knew?

P.D. and O.C. height compensation for higher prism amounts. Less-known stuff. Up your game!

A plethora of progressive contour plots

Found this page and thought it would interest the geeks among us. If you are researching progressives- realize many of these pictures are produced by the manufacturer and are showing them in their best light.

Also- Newbies will find very helpful a base knowledge of how progressives work by reading HOF threads above concerning designs. Optiboard also has a great thread in the Opticampus forum under CE's "Design of progressives".

    Be forewarned!
