Hello all!

I have over 7 years experience in optical, and I am really wanting to get certified. I'm a competent optician (not merely a sales person), but I do struggle with some of the complex equations and prism/light theory (algebra is my Achilles Heel).

I have been wracking my brain to find an IN PERSON course I can take in Dallas (which I would think would be possible??) to no avail. In lieu of this, I came across this CD/workbook set on NAO --

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it? I was thinking it would be a good option for me, as I really need something engaging to learn. An actual person is preferable, but an audio CD is MILES better than just a book. I'm just not a "Give her a text book, now pass this test" kind of person. I prefer hands on.

But I digress!!

Also, those of you who have an NAO membership, do you find it beneficial? What are your favorite benefits?

TIA!!
