    New name for a photochromic lens

    Hello. My lab is asking all employees to submit a new name for a photochromic lens we are now using. Whoever wins will receive an Apple iPad Air 2.... I so want a new iPad......I could use some help ..... Any suggestions would be so appreciated.... It cannot contain the name of a registered lens from another company. .....

    I'll play...........

    * SeeChange

    * Dark Em Ups

    * Super Duper Changables

    * Oh Say, I Can't See

    * Transcendental

    * Speceroo'

    * Senciwincy

    * PhotoConfusion

    * Chamaeleo Zeylanicus ( Since "Chameleon" is already a registered name for a photo chromatic lens, I've suggested the scientific name of a species in India)

    * Ralph (My personal favorite!)

    Let me know if any of my suggestions win!

    Good ones!

    I tell my clients- when you take the dog for a walk on a cold, overcast, drizzly day in November, the lenses turn very dark, and when you hop in the car on a sunny day in July, they turn almost clear. You want to pay extra for that?

    Glass lady,

    All I could think of is the lame and probably registered Changelings.

    You might win with 24/7's SeeChange!

    Good luck,

    I've always thought "Janus" would make a good name for a photochromic lens (he's the Roman god with two faces).

    Gee, since people call progressives "Transitions", why not call the new photos "Progressives"?

    I agree that the photochromics are not all their cracked up to be, but people still use them and spend money for them. The XTRA actives are better. But still not quite there.. Thanks for the suggestion.

    I still like Ralph. It's the guttural sound my competition's patients make when trying on their new glasses!

    What if you got a really big eyesize?

    They'd be a huge Janus?

    We call ours Sun Activated Tint

    What about Auto Tint?

    I do like Janus, and in that line of thinking, Helios or Hyperion.

    I laughed out loud when I saw this, but I think it could work! Catchy & fun, and you get cows as mascots. Cows are cool...
