Question Frame with NO nose contact

Many years ago, possibly eons, Avant Garde had a frame that fit on the brow with the lenses supported by this "band" that fit well for someone unable to have the weigt of eyewear on the nose. It worked very well. Now, I have a customer requesting something that again will not touch the nose. Has anyone seen something like this recently? Any suggestions viewed as helpful.

    Mick,

Contact lenses if the corneas are healthy.

Could we braze a pair of pad arms onto the inferior part of a metal frame?

Maybe foam placed on the inferior portion of the frame to rest on the cheek?

    Hope this helps,

    Robert,

Thanks for the comments. That may be an option. She has had silicone injections in her nose to help with a broken nose and is experiencing significant discomfort now. May be a temporary thing. My previous experience was for a person with nose removal so today's request may be a temporary thing.

I once met a guy who could clip the nosepieces off of a Silhouette and mold the bridge in such a way that it held in place between the patient's eyes. That dude was an artist.

Miraflex could work if the strap was pulled tightly enough, or RX swim goggles...
