Swarf compactor

Hey all

We just switched over to the Loh Orbit from the Cobalt. After investing a good chunk of change, I cannot shell out another 35K for a swarf system, yet. Perhaps when we add a second Orbit in 2 years. I'm sure that there are other solutions out there to compact the swarf and recover the coolant in a more budget friendly price tier. I've looked at Loh and Schneider and am about to contact Universal Photonics.

For you lab mavens out there, which systems do you use, or would you know of any other options?

You might Google "waste recovery filters" and find some less expensive solutions to your needs.

Thanks Dick. Most of what I found via Google was for metal swarf compaction. I will check the link you provided soon. Appreciate the quick response.
