Not it if is done right, but the more important question is: how is the AR being applied?
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Hoya's AR coatings hold up so well because of how good their hard coating is. Anyone that has tried to create strip and dip formulations for their lenses can attest to how difficult it is to remove.

Do any of you see crazing in lenses with certain AR coating. I have been seeing it very often, at least once a day, with sapphire 360?

I see very little crazing with all crizal products. Are theyball from the same lab? Maybe something is going on there, or you have a large amount of people who are leaving their glasses in a car during a heatwave.

I see it but rarely and definitely not "more" with any premium lenses

Yes they are all from the same lab. I live in North Dakota so we have wild temps up here. But everyone says they always have their glasses on their faces, and never leave then in the car. Right now we have had a long stretch of 85 and above temps. So i am not sure if the heat can craze the lenses while they are on peoples faces outside during these higher temps.

Crazing can occur for a multitude of reasons and it would only be complete speculation without discussion with the lab directly. On your end, the one thing you could do is determine if there is common theme: lens material, transition, tint, etc.

From the Hall of Fame a 2017 thread for those who can't get enough and are going crazing over this:

Post #15 from Tallboy makes a good point on different types of "crazing" that really are not.
