    Clarifye??

Has anyone heard of this? I had a person call in asking if we did Clarifye Eye Exams? Looking it up it looks like a topographer/autorefractor..

After looking on the interwebs I did see where it is a lencrafters gimmick. I was just not sure if it was a new wave of tech for optometrist or a glorified topographer lol!

Ir appears to be a "spin" on an Autorefraction, autolensometer, and Optomap type of retinal image

https://www.lenscrafters.com/clarifye This video show them using a Zeiss iProfiler. Just seems to be mashing more high tech sounding made up marketing words together to confuse patients. As if this technology hasn't already been available for years.

Just like they do with "feather weights".... or as we like to call them ... polycarbonate. Just use the proper term. Drives me up a wall to use made up stuff!

Zeiss for sure. Sorry for the misinformation.

AccuExam is going to be rebranded Clarifye. It is a new technology. It is the evolution of AccuExam. It is even more powerful, more advanced. It is the best technology in the market. We are rolling it out together with Zeiss.

I see my optometrist this afternoon. He uses an analog manual phoropter.
