    R/-6.00-1.25*75
    L/-5.50-0.25*105
    ADD/+1.00

Patient Only looking for Reading eyeglass.

    After calculating prescription is:

    R/-5.00-1.25*75
    L/-4.50-0.25*105

I do not think it is a right prescription for reading glasses

    Did i misunderstanding something?

    Thank you.

If the ADD is +1.00 (I think that's what it looks like...) than your math is correct. That makes sense if this is a patient new to presbyopia.
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

If the add is +1.00 and it requires +2.50 diopters of accommodation to see clearly at 40cm that means your patient has +1.50 of useable accommodation. Meaning their amplitude of accommodation with a +1.00 add would be 100cm to 36 cm more than enough to accomplish most near and intermediate tasks.
