Help. I am looking for a specific part# or name -spacers/washers that go inside

I am a wholesaler and have been doing more and more metal/Groove where the lens has an extra deep and wide groove. I am looking for the spacer/washer that goes into the lens to help make for a tight seal and keep the lens from moving. Can anyone help me find out what the actual part is and where I might get them? Thank you in advance

Hmm. I always just cut them with a .8 width groove on those types of frames and it fits just right - First and formost I would say contact the frame manufacturer for processing guidelines.... I'm not sure I've ever seen a part that would be just for that... but a lens liner from hilco might do the job. I don't have the exact part number but call Hilco http://www.hilco.com/optometry/ or http://www.dynamiclabs.net/

Tell them what you told us and/or ask for a vinyl lens interliner and just make it work.

Can you post a picture of the frames you are edging so we can see what you are doing? I've always been able to just process them with a special groove width/depth.

    Good luck!

    From Hilco.

Along with the other items the lens cushion works well in metal frame. The latex dries and creates a gasket that takes up the extra space in undercut lenses.

    +1 Hilco

...besides, if you call Dynamics, you will never get rid of them! Might as well be political telemarketers...
Have I told you today how much I hate poly?

Why use a washer that will be destroyed over time vs getting the sizing correct? We do them all day with no issues on LenSync and an ME 1200.

Jobs like the example, no problem with turning it's mainly on round shapes and I agree with you, I like the washer for 1.67 to help put a cushion when trivex isn't used but we don't process as many as your doing. Thanks
