Magnum Strada

Anyone have any experience with this AR? How well does it hold up compared to others. We mostly us EX3, some Crizal and Zeiss. I've already looked at another thread (http://www.optiboard.com/forums/show...nti+reflection) but what is everyone's thought about the statement, "All AR are about even these days"?

Above statement would only be valid if you would have knowledge or access to information on the physical treatment the individual public gives the AR coatings they purchase.

Put it this way: In my experience, it is clear AR coatings differ in scratch-resistance, ease of cleaning, and appearance. I don't have be be a chemist or have had to conduct a study to observe those differences. Working with lenses with different coatings and seeing how lenses with various coatings last when worn by clients are enough to tell me they are not all the same.

Magnum Strada is an ok coating. In our experience it holds up for about 1 1/2 years before fail. And no way are all AR's even these days.
