I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain

A full moon and all, requires a cold compress be applied.

I find that Chivas on the rocks in an octagonal glass held over the eyebrow down to the cheek zone is usually successful for quelling both symptoms. Repeat as necessary to achieve oblivion.

The world has become saturated with genetic mutants fueled by social media as their platform in which they know everything and gives them the right to dump on anybody they feel deemed a favorable target. Nothing thick skin and a professional rebuttal can't handle.

I'd have been very much tempted to tell her to please take it with her. If she refused I'd want to again calmly and politely ask her if we can go over what's in her purse so we can be sure everything is there when she comes out. You never know when someone is off (or needs) their meds!!!

This is so smart and probably something I would never have done. You sir sound like a man who has had unhinged wrath poured upon him on more than one occasion.

OMG That lady was actually so grumpy it was funny. (She was also almost 100 yrs old) The girl at the front desk nearly fell off her chair from laughing. It was all I could do to not laugh, so there was no way I was going to do that. Fortunately she caught me at a slow time and no one else was in optical. Those are the grumpy people I really don't mind too much. They're grumpy with the whole world. It's the younger ones that decide they are going to scream and abuse you for reasons beyond your control (like insurance or Rx issue that needs to be addressed by dr.)
