wasn't aware of a red to grey? I have had their racing red photochromic for a few years now... Check with LUZERNE optical as they have a wide selection of colors.. more than anyone else I've seen

The Red photo' Rudy's I worked with transitioned from red to grey. What color are your Racing Red when fully activated?
Thanks for the lead with Luzerne!

Great idea ml43 but we're wanting an 8 base wrap, sport style. The pt. loves the ImpactX Racing Red Photochromic ... however my RP contact tells me it's no-more since early this year.
I've looked at Bolle' (Bushnell), Oakley, Wiley X, Etc.
    Any other ideas?

I bet a Trivex 8 Base transitions with a red base tint is probably exactly what Rudy was using for those lenses, if you replicate that it will probably be exactly the same. I seriously doubt they had their own photochromic designed for them, though of course I might be wrong.

    What he said,

younger makes transitions in an 8 base for cr39, poly, trivex, and 1.60.

I'm surprised more people don't do tinted/gradient transitions.

Since ml43 mentioned I remember tinting some trans grey in the not to distant past. Never occurred to me to tint it red! With 8 base available it really opens things up a bit.

    Thanks again guys!
