I'm not familiar with them, Harry, but I'll ask around down here.

    David,

INDO is a Spanish company, big in European market (or so I am told) they have a few lens out under the names Admira, Amply, IVS and HD.. They also are starting in the U.S. under a distribution company INDO Lens U.S. .. by what I understand the way tehy might be doing it here (U.S.) is making the lens as a "third" party and letting the companies resell it under there own brand name ...they might have done the same thing over seas..
Anyone here those trade names listed above? ..
    Admira, Amply, IVS and HD..???

I think the name of the material is what Harry posted and it could be like Trivex here through PPG and than Younger and Hoya is putting it out under there own trade name after doing a little tinkering with the base mix :)

I worked with Indo in the mid to late 90's on a number of projects we had going with them.
Superfin at that time was a 1.52 Index polymer cast from Tokuyama Soda monomers.
Indo was a first class outfit changing from glass to plastics. They were tough but good to work with. Our Irish EU plant works with them now.
The best thing about INDO was location...Barcelona! what a city, still in its post Olympic glory.....and their off shore solar test site....Canary Islands!!

Superfin edges more like CR39. You can drill it and it wont chip or break. Takes a ton of stress with no stress showing. Very Cool stuff if you ask me.
