    EDGE Issue

    Hello Everybody............Need your help to solve the Issue of Visible Edge .Every time my guy fill 1.67 or 1.74 index Edges shows up as VERY MUCH WHITE RING ,which of course looks bad.

    Do we have A SOLUTION to avoid this ?

    Kind of hard to tell from the picture. Polish the lens edges, maybe relax a bit on the safety bevel. The pic almost looks like the front is beveled too much.

    There is an angle to this straight bevel, ............that's all. Edging problem.

    Looks like the edger blades or edger wheels may be leaving a "white frosted" surface area behind the bevel? If so it could be an edger setting for hi index (speeds and feeds) are wrong or the tech isn't using the hi index cycle when edging? I agree with try a polished edge.

    yeh.......you r right ,Front is beveled much then required .Can Bevel be adjusted in automated Edger ?

    Can you take a lens out, take a few more pics close up so we can see more? Side views of the lens temple side and nasal side would be great.

    What is the frame curve, bevel curve you ran, lens curve and thickness of the frame zyl and the lens thickness at the thickest and thinnest point? Based on that I can design anything you want to see as a finished product on a good edger.
