    Welcome, LensXprt!

Your question got me curious, found this old thread: http://www.optiboard.com/forums/show...-the-U-S-TODAY [edit: and this one http://www.optiboard.com/forums/show...g-or-vaporware ]

Didn't notice the tensile strength on the website, though (--or if was on those gif files I couldn't make 'em out.) Anybody know?

The three users on here who seem to know the material best from personal use in the Lab are Dr. Bill Stacy, Braheem24 and Optical24/7.

I respect all of their opinions very much but they also vary widely on the subject Hi-Vex.

You might want to ask this in the General Optics forum to get better results.

Other that the blue blocking properties I see no reason to use it; is the same price as trivex.
