POSITION PURPOSE:
Responds to consumer contacts via multiple channels (phone, email, letter, chat, social media, SMS). Provides expert knowledge to consumers and other sources contacting us for information or seeking assistance in the use of our consumer advertised products.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide support by phone, email, or social media outlets to consumers and/ or ECPs
• Serve as a primary resource and point of contact for consumer information and escalated complaints on Essilor Premium Brand lenses and coatings
• Ability to handle and resolve complaints balancing the needs of the consumers with those of the organization
• Utilizes opportunities to build/strengthen the customer-product/service relationship
• Liason between consumer, ECP and laboratories for overall product satisfaction and resolution
• Partner with Product Marketing and Social Media Communications Associate to develop appropriate replies and resolutions to consumer concerns and complaints
• Monitor and answer product specific mailbox inquiries from consumers and troubleshoot as needed
• Awareness of new product introductions to educate consumers on our product portfolio, brand awareness, and brand image
• Provide training/education to consumers and ECP’s as needed on the features and benefits of Essilor’s consumer advertised products
• Provide monthly analysis and reporting of consumer statistics received via direct phone contact or email to Consumer Brand Advocate Supervisor


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years Customer Service experience preferred
• Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision or direction
• Gather and analyze customer requirements in order to partner in service solutions
• Ability to perform under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions
• Critical thinker, problem solver
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills at all levels of the organization, as well as cross-functional communications experience
• PC literate-Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Extensive knowledge of Essilor products, services, policies and procedures
• ABO ceritification preferred
