    Type of intraocular lens

    Hi all,
It is a general question. How can we choose the best intraocular lens? Can anyone explain the basic differences between Tecnis lenses and reSTOR lenses? How can we recommend these lenses? On the basis of the type of vision problem? Or the treatment type? One of my customers asked me to help him to choose the best lens for him from the list ( http://www.evergreeneye.com/premium-...lar-lenses.php ). How can I help him? Is there any lens which can be used without using glasses?

Somebody in the Optical Wholesale business has no business recommending a particular IOL for anybody. That should be left between their surgeon and themselves. There are many varying reasons why a Dr would recommend a particular IOL that you do not have the expertise nor medical background to comment on.

Here, here. And neither do we. We don't need no opinions or anecdotes from opticians or optometrists and, in particular, peddlers of IOL's. Lets try to keep this professional.

I have a question....why is an individual that works in an Optical Wholesale Lab in Toronto asking about IOL's from an office in Washington State, approximately 42 hour drive away?
