The Manager oversees daily operations of the entire optical department to include sales, service and OD relations. He/She also completes paperwork and computer data entries as necessary to place and process orders and perform technical operations such as making eyeglass adjustments, taking measurements and reading the Lensometer. It is the responsibility of the Manager to work cooperatively and respectfully with supervisors, and fellow associates. Patient satisfaction is the optimum goal.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed to work as an optician within New York
  • Prior optical experience needed
  • Must possess proven track record of customer service
  • Prior retail experience required, at least one year
  • Strong computer systems knowledge/experience required.
