Noticed that Rodenstock had a full page advert in the "Mail" today....Maybe it was in others as well.
£175 for Hindex AR coated lenses in a rimless frame. Most of locations given were indee's as well.
Could this be the start of a price war.
Something needs to be done as if the ammount of work we are getting at present is representive of the trade as a whole then its not just quite it dam dead.....

Great. Across the pond Rodenstock has adverts up for their lenses. Over here our lab just told me they are having major supply issues with the company. Some of the Rodenstock lenses are on backorder for a month and the Colormatics keep ending up being sent out shipped wrong.

Perhaps they have been sending everything over to the UK for that promotion. Probably not but at least it would be a good reason for such long backorders.
