Redhot Jumper spray on "Easy Clean" replacement, for AR coated lenses.................

We have just completed the final version of Easy Clean including Anti Fog and Anti Static properties to renew lens surfaces that have gone dull and are hard to clean.

Once applied, lenses are slick again, easy to clean and resist fogging up and will not collect dust and dirt.

Easy to apply by optician or even patient.

This sounds like a great product. How long does it last? Does it come in smaller spray bottles that patients can buy?

Yes Happylady, we think it could become a good seller.

Yes it comes in small spray bottles for use by patients.
The standard size of the bottles is 30 ml, with no shelf life
(expiration date), which is good for numerous renewals.

We believe that with the added feature, of the anti static feature, not attracting dust it will need less cleaning, and therefore last longer.

You can not put a time limit on such an item because every person is different from the one that cleans the lenses every hour to the one that does it twice a week.

The suggested retail price to the patient is on the website at the link provided above.

Have you had any reviews posted by doctors or customers that have used it? If so, please provide a link to that info. I'd be interested in what they have to say.

because this is a replacement does it only work on lenses that have an existing "easy clean" type coating or could it work on any lenses including ones that just have a hard coat?

Maybe free samples to all Optiboarders would generate positive reviews...or reviews.

Johns ...............That was done last fall about 5-6 month ago, right here on OB.

There were some positive comments but no action.

I also did it with my anti-fog product ZeroFog many years ago, and you can see the comments about a mediocre product still today on OptiBoard.

If it would have been for those professional tests, the product would have died many years ago.

Despite of that. it is now used in increasing amounts in about 90 % of all car and other automotive brands, on their electronic dashboard instruments.

It also has found some interesting military applications by electronic instrument manufacturers on two continents.

It is also well on the internet by Amazon.

Our original "Easy Clean" came on the market in 1985-1986 as the first of such coatings.

We developed it because some optical company in Vancouver had problems with salt stains on AR coatings that were very hard to remove.

This material sticks to about anything form metal to concrete.
It will work also on a hard coat if it is not made from siloxanes.

Redhot Jumper Use and sell the cure for tired AR slick coates ...............

With over 700 lookers on this post there seems to be a lot of interest on curing a tired slick coat on AR coated lenses.

A new layer of "EASY CLEAN" can be applied out of a 30 ml spray bottle in a few seconds, and it also has "AntiFog and Antistatic" properties.

When AR coated lenses with a hydrophobic / oleo phobic slick coat start getting tired and harder to clean, the original coating has been rubbed off through the cleaning action, and you can re-apply and refresh it with a new slick coat over the old one in seconds, and your lens surface will work as when it was new.
