Technology Tour Coming Soon to 12 Cities Across America

Younger Optics and Transitions Optical to Host 12-City Technology Tour

Eye Care Professionals across America are invited to attend two new seminars hosted by Transitions Optical and Younger Optics. The seminar tour, entitled the Younger/Transitions Technology Tour, is coming to twelve cities from March to June 2016. This evening event is free to attend for optical professionals.

The first seminar is called Polarized Lenses. This one-hour seminar will discuss the nature and harmful effects of polarized light, how to protect your eyes by using polarized lenses, and how to recognize the innovative technologies that make the most advanced and intelligently designed polarized lenses. It will also go over the current state of the polarized lens market in the optical industry, and how you can increase your practice/store’s income by making polarized sunwear a more important part of your business.

The second seminar is entitled Beyond Clear: Five Latest Innovations in Photochromic Lens Technology. This course will explore the technology that makes photochromics work; traditional and emerging measurement methodologies; and new trends in photochromic lens technology and dye chemistry, which are enabling new performance characteristics like visible light activation and variable polarization.

Attending eye care professionals will receive two hours of education credits, free dinner, as well as free gifts†: Two professional vouchers to try one pair of everyday Transitions lenses, as well as one pair of polarized sunwear lenses. Attendees will be able to choose any Transitions® XTRActive® lens pair, or may opt to try the new Transitions Signature™ FT28 bifocal in Polycarbonate Composite material. For their free sunwear pair, attendees will be able to choose any NuPolar® or NuPolar® Gradient lens, in any style or material available. Additional raffle prizes may also be awarded to select attendees.
