Hi, all:
May I ask all of you who is the manufacturer of YSL eyewear since (the beginning of) 2016?
Thanks.

kering eyewear
Was wondering this myself, thank you.
Wow, I didn't even know they were still selling frames under the YSL name. Sold a lot of those 20 years ago, haven't seen them since. They were a hot brand when I was in Junior High School, but we spoke Latin then.
That would be Kering Eyewear. A new optical company who will also be taking over Gucci in 2017. Unique in this is owned by the Design House that owns the brands they carry vs the typical licensing that is so prevalent in our industry. I do not have their contact information but it should be listed online. Good luck!
My understanding is that Safilo is to continue production of much of Kering's products but I am unclear as to who is responsible for distribution. It would make sense that Safilo would continue it's role as the distributor for the time being.
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain
Thanks for the reply, to what I know and what I heard from the news is that Kering Eyewear handles the design and production of the big 3 brands from Kering Group which are Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta and Gucci, not sure about the other brands from Kering Group.
