Heartbreaking news at the loss of David Bowie today. We've lost far too many luminaries recently, and it doesn't seem that they're getting replaced. Not with the fire, the imagination, the boundless creativity of so many of the masters of the recent past.
I don't know if there's anything beyond this life - but just imagine the musical mischief David, and the likes of Freddie Mercury could be getting into...
Now on Heaven's stage singing the augmented 5th in God's chorus!!!

Yeah. I'm done with this cancer crap. The news about Alan was a gut punch I wasn't looking for this morning. This brief journey we all share can be strange and trying at times. We're walking together with a dear friend of ours who is battling stage 4 breast cancer as well. She was in remission about 5 years ago, but sadly it is back now, and spread everywhere, including liver, bone marrow and spinal fluid. We were hoping for years more together, but now we're thankful for every moment of every day.
Here's to a cure - in our lifetimes!
