    Transmission value of Trivex Physio Transition Xtractive?

    Does anyone have an indoor transmission value for a trivex transion Xtractive lens? thanks

    According to the above, Transitions XTRActive has an average indoor light transmission of about 90% when coated. Average is undefined but probably means medium to low index of refraction materials. Fade time is not noted.

    Using Fresnel's law, (n-1/n+1)2, each surface of a Trivex lens will reflect 4.4% of light. Subtract that from the 90% coated figure to find that an uncoated XTRActive light transmission is roughly 81%.
