    Music and prose for the holidays

    Darlene Love sang "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)" on the Letterman show every December for almost 30 years. IMO, the 1993 version is the strongest. The show is gone, but the performances live on.

    Here's my contribution; Clarence Carter's "Backdoor Santa". Nothing brings in Christmas cheer like a backdoor Santa!
