Any recommendations on optical software for point of sale invoicing, inventory, booking eye exams, etc.

Where i currently work at an Optometrist's Office we use Ifile. It seems to be outdated and could definitely be improved. I would avoid this program if I was choosing a new POS system

Any one of the off-the-shelf business accounting applications will do an excellent job for point of sale invoicing and inventory control. Now, what are the etc's that you speak of.

There is this small business pos software called MultiFlex. Just give it a try. It may be helpful :)

We use My Vision Express and after 10 years have no complaints; the software will do anything if you take the time to set it up properly.
